E. Andrew “Andy” Johnson is a shareholder in the Firm. He is a Tulsa native and has served in numerous volunteer positions throughout the community, including as Chairman of the Tax Section and the Corporate and Business Law Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association. Andy graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in accounting in 1991 and is a Certified Public Accountant. He previously practiced in public accounting with Ernst & Young. LLP. Andy earned his J.D., with honors, from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1995, where he served as an Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review. In law school, he won the American Jurisprudence Award in estate planning. He holds the prestigious “AV” rating by Martindale Hubbell, the highest possible nationally recognized rating for an attorney.
Andy’s primary practice areas include estate planning, estate and trust administration and corporate law. He represents a broad range of clients, from those with basic estate planning needs to those with very large and complex estates, often requiring various types of irrevocable trusts, advanced estate, gift and generation-skipping tax planning and private charitable foundations.He also serves as general corporate counsel for a number of closely held companies.
